Description

Strandhill beach lies at the base of Knocknarea mountain in county Sligo. This place is special to us as it is the burial place of Queen Maeve – the warrior queen. She was the warrior queen of Connacht, the western province of Ireland. It is said that her father was king of Connacht before becoming High King of Ireland and she became ruler of Connacht after him. She had five recognized husbands, and ruled for over 60 years. The combination of greens and ivory in these Strandhill drop earrings are reminiscent of the views of the mountain as you stand on the beach at Strandhill.

I absolutely love my earrings. They look very similar to the photo on the website and are my third pair from the shop. They are very light and don’t tug on my ears at all. They are smaller than the other pair of meab earrings I have, maybe the size of a US penny and I love it! I have very sensitive ears and these have never irritated them. I’m excited to buy new pairs in the future.
